Snowboard Club Christmas Camps is coming up.  The first week we will be riding Friday and Saturday, Dec. 28th and 29th.  The second week will be Jan. 4th-5th, Friday and Saturday.  This is a great time for the kids to get some extra riding time with Snowboard Club.  We will be riding from 10:00-3:00 for the camp days.  We will meet at the Club House at the top of Chair 7.

We have USASA races (giant slalom and slalom) coming up January 4th-6th.  The races will be held at Durango on Purgatory Resort.  Please let me know if your child is interested in competing in the races, and I can get more information to you.  There is also more information on usasa.org, we are competing under the South West Colorado Series.  We are able to send a coach with a coach’s fee if parents/members are interested in going.

Snowboard Club had to do a coach switch for this winter.  We no longer have Jay and Lexi unfortunately.  We have brought on Galen Fowler.  He is an awesome coach, and we are happy to bring him back to our coaching crew.  He is USASA level 100 certified, has lots of snowboarding knowledge, and is a great snowboarder.  Galen’s phone number if parents/members want it is 970-417-6443.

The past three Saturdays of Club have been great!  All the coaches are stoked on this season riding with the kids!
