We have our first USASA South West Colorado Slopestyle events coming up in Durango on Purgatory Resort.  The events will be held 1/26 and 1/27.  We will not be traveling with kids this year, but we can provide a coach to be there.  Galen will be our traveling contest coach this winter.  There is a coaches fee, the fee will depend on how many kids will be going.  The fee covers driving costs and lodging for the coach.  Please let me know ASAP if your child is interested/wants to compete in these events.  I will send you more information about the details of the events if your child wants to attend.

Kids boards seem to be riding slow from what the coaches have noticed.  It is important to have their gear riding well.  Please, when you have time have their boards get waxed and tuned at one of the local ski shops in town.  I recommend Johnny at Easy Rider (near the Free Box).  He does an awesome job and knows the snow conditions well!
