05 Feb Aspen USASA Details and Weekend Updates

Good evening skiers and parents,

We have recieved some feedback asking for greater detail in regards to the Aspen Snowmass USASA competition. This email is our effort to provide that information. Our traveling coach had a family emergency early this week, and while we apologize for the last minute communication, we are fully staffed and ready to rock for this weekend. Coach Jason Castle will be at Snowmass at 11 AM tomorrow to provide training for sunday’s slopestyle event, he can be reached on his cell at (315) 360-6933. The following day, Jason will be at the Aspen Valley Ski Club for registration at 8 am. The address for this facility is 300 AVSC Drive. Aspen, CO 81611.

For athletes that are not attending this Aspen slopestyle, we will have training in Upper and Lower Hoot Brown Terrain Park at our usual 9:15 AM meeting time at the upper clubhouse. We will be focusing this week on timing, air awareness, and technical rail skills. There will also be local training at noon on sunday if you are interested. Please let us know if there is any confusion or if you have any questions at all. Looking forward to these next few weeks as we will be training and competing at full throttle. Don’t hesitate to stop and have a chat with any of our staff on the hill at any time!
