John brings deep roots in Telluride Ski Resort operations and events, alongside extensive experience with U.S. Ski & Snowboard. John works nationally running major events (including U.S. Nationals, World Championships, and the Olympics), giving him unparalleled insight into elite athletic club operations.
Bernard Hatcher, Secretary/Treasurer
Bernard contributes a decade of hands-on club volunteer and event experience. Bernard is a dedicated TSSC parent who had an athlete grow up in the club, with two others before that, bringing long-standing commitment and a deeply rooted parent perspective to the roster
Erik Dalton
Erik is a former TSSC athlete, coach, and past board President. Erik’s comprehensive, multi-level understanding of the club is invaluable; he and his family were the driving force behind acquiring our lower HQ training facility, locker room, and office space. Erik also generously hosts and facilitates annual gear-shopping events benefiting the club at his regional retail stores, Jagged Edge and Montrose Surf & Cycle.
Lars Carlson
Lars is a local business owner, former town council member, and TSSC parent. Lars serves as the long-time Chairman of our largest annual fundraiser, the TSSC Charity Golf Tournament.
Jake Bush
Jake is a Telluride-born business owner, former competitive athlete, current volunteer coach, and dedicated TSSC parent. Jake was unanimously appointed last week to fill the seat vacated by Jim Lucarelli, bringing a proactive, fresh perspective to the board. Recognizing the current needs of our membership, Jake is stepping into this role to champion several key initiatives:
Technological Modernization: Leading a comprehensive revamp of our website and upgrading the club’s digital infrastructure to fundamentally improve how information is shared and how families engage with the club.
Member Engagement & Partnerships: Driving stronger parent and community participation while leveraging his background to secure new corporate sponsorships and regional partnerships to bolster our financial sustainability.
Regional Recruitment & Growth: Spearheading creative outreach strategies to recruit new families and expand our reach into diverse social groups and demographics across the region, directly responding to declining enrollment trends in local school districts.
Athlete Achievement & Pipeline Development: Jake is dedicated to celebrating the legacy of our alumni and the triumphs of current competitors. He is actively collaborating with member families to design specialized pathways for our rising athletes, leveraging strategic partnerships to maximize the unique geographic and community advantages of our box canyon home.
Bianca Vidal, Community Outreach Liaison
Our community outreach liaison and a relentless volunteer. Blanca connects TSSC directly with our Latino community and families—including supporting standout athletes like two-time U.S. Jr. National attendee Andy Calderon—ensuring skiing remains accessible to all local youth.
