ANNUAL TEAM MEETING | Friday, Dec. 8th @ 5:30pm

TSSC is hosting a talk by Dr. Jim Taylor on Friday at 5:30pm at the Mountain Village Conference Center and we’d like to invite any and all parents/athletes who might be interested to hear him share his secrets on how kids can improve their performance in competitions and how we as parents can best support them in their pursuits.  We’d love to invite your current Teams and their parents.

About Dr. Taylor: Jim Taylor, Ph.D., is considered one of the world’s leading authorities on the psychology of sports performance and specializes in the psychology of snow sports. He has worked with the U.S. and Japanese Ski Teams, Olympic racers and skiers from many countries, and most of the top junior ski programs in the U.S. and Canada. He has also worked extensively in many other sports, as well as consulting in the corporate and medical worlds.

Jim is the author of 19 books, including 5 parenting books, and the editor of 5 textbooks that have been translated into more than 10 languages. His blog posts have been read by more than 10-million people. Jim has given more than 1000 workshops to athletes, coaches, and parents on almost every continent.

Jim is also no slouch as an athlete. A graduate of Burke Mountain Academy, Jim competed internationally, captained an NCAA 5th-ranked Middlebury College Ski Team, was a member of an NCAA Champion University of Colorado Ski Team, and competed on the professional ski tour while in graduate school. He is also a 2nd degree black belt in karate, a sub-3-hour marathon runner, an Ironman triathlete, and an age-group National Champion and 3x World Championship medal-winning triathlete.
