Lauren Woodward, Board Chair

 

Lauren Woodward was born and raised in Telluride, Colorado, where she grew up skiing and competing through the Telluride Ski and Snowboard Club (TSSC). A lifelong local with deep roots in the community, Lauren has built a career as a business owner and remains actively involved in Telluride’s civic and philanthropic life — from local arts organizations to youth sports and community initiatives. Her connection to the town runs generations deep, and she’s committed to giving back to the place, and the programs, that shaped her.

Jason Soules, Secretary/Treasurer

 

Jason Soules is a founding member, Partner and Managing Director of EHS Partners with over 30 years of experience leading performance and strategic improvement projects for companies in the U.S. and abroad, across industries including banking, insurance, utilities, and consumer packaged goods. In addition to EHS Partners, Jason recently started Bedrock Rico Development to build affordable housing in the Telluride region.
For the past decade, Jason and his family have lived in Telluride. He is actively involved with numerous local Telluride non-profits and is also a Board Member of the historic Sheridan Opera House. Outside of work, Jason is an active triathlete, skier, and hiker.

Erik Dalton, Board Member

 

Erik is a former TSSC athlete, coach, and past board President. Erik’s comprehensive, multi-level understanding of the club is invaluable; he and his family were the driving force behind acquiring our lower HQ training facility, locker room, and office space. Erik also generously hosts and facilitates annual gear-shopping events benefiting the club at his regional retail stores, Jagged Edge and Montrose Surf & Cycle.

Bernard Hatcher, Board Member

 

Bernard contributes a decade of hands-on club volunteer and event experience. Bernard is a dedicated TSSC parent who had an athlete grow up in the club, with two others before that, bringing long-standing commitment and a deeply rooted parent perspective to the roster

Erin Wilson, Board Member

 

Raised in Telluride, Erin Wilson (Raley) grew up skiing and racing with the Telluride Alpine Race Team. Her childhood experiences on the mountain shaped her lifelong passion for snow sports and the Telluride community.

Erin is a Physician Assistant and Emergency Department Supervisor at Northern Navajo Medical Center. She lives in Rico with her husband, Matt, and their two sons, one of whom is joining the TSSC Alpine race program.

Committed to financial stability, transparency, accountability, and open communication, Erin hopes to help build a thriving, inclusive club that honors TSSC’s heritage while expanding opportunities for future generations of athletes.

Brita Speck, Board Member

 

Brita and her family have been part of the Telluride community since 1997. With decades of skiing experience spanning Alpine and Nordic racing, ski mountaineering, and 18 years in Alaska, she brings a diverse background to the TSSC Board. She is also an attorney, dedicated TSSC parent, and L100 Nordic coach.
Her daughters have participated in TSSC for over five years, progressing from Alpine to competitive Nordic racing at the JNQ level. Brita is passionate about youth athletic development and ensuring TSSC provides exceptional coaching, unique training opportunities, and lifelong mountain values.
